It sounds to me as though you like most Christians are trying to find some way that you are worshiping your God better, however most people want to connect with their god more and touch the things of their faith's history, or understand their god's creation out of awe. The someone you should really be disturbed about is you, your vanity spills out of the first sentence. I am not a Christian, but i know more about your religion than most people who teach it. It is rare a Christian to find who is not trying to remove a splinter from his brother's eye while there is a boulder in their own.

God loves it when we think as well as have faith. However that documentary on the Discovery Channel about Noah's Ark was not from a Christian viewpoint. Anything that required faith, or extraordinary human character, they explained away with a lot of supposes.
For example, they said that Noah could not return to his own land because probably some creditors survived and he could not pay them back. That is just plain ridiculous, but these guys call themselves professors, historians and scholars. That Noah's Ark documentary was followed by the lost tombs of Jesus, another piece of questionable academia. Don't take anything that you see on the Discovery Channel seriously. Research and find out for yourself.

Which Christians are you referring to on TV? People in politics have said that they will not let their beliefs interfer with their politicial duties. Politicially this is good but religiously this isn't. God is to come first in a Christian's life. But in America, at least, money and power seem to come first. I just had Bible sutdy this week and we were talking about when Jesus told the disciples to let the dead bury their own dead,; not to look back; to leave all their possessions and follow Him. He didn't have them go back to their homes to say good bye and get their things. IF they believed, they were to just follow right then and there. Family didn't come first over God. Yet today you will not find many Christian that will put God before their own family. I agree with you. But I would like to know you are specifically referring to?

nothing wrong with seeking truth. Knock and it will be opened unto you. Seek and you will find.
I don't need proof but knowledge is power. The Ark was found several years ago, right where the Bible said it is. Just one piece of evidence that God decided to show the world.
Now they don't have an excuse do they!!!!!!

What is disturbing is the fact that God doesn't exist, and you are wondering why anyone would use religion, and use his name, to gain power. That should be obvious. Religious faith is rooted in the desire for things like love and power.

Are you just pretending to be a Christian?
Since when does Christianity advocate "have faith and never question"? If you really believe that, you're in the wrong religion.

actually, God doesnt exist. These christians you say that are denying his power are actually just not quite as naive as yourself, although they are too scared of social persecution to deny Gods existance. If you were a real christian you would not be judging these other people, Zing

If it really happened, then people both believe and seek to demonstrate it to doubters. This doesn't necessitate the denial of God's power, but sometimes it can happen this way.

It's more disturbing for me to see people who *don't* question and rely on blind faith.
