Sophia is a Greek name, it means "wisdom"....

In French, Sophia is Sophie and in Italian it's Sofia, because they don't have the sound with "ph"....

Sophia would be neither.

The Italian would be Sofia.

Only the Americans and English use PH for F

When I hear the name Sophia, I think of Sophia Loren. I believe she was Italian. So, I think of it as Italian, but I could be wrong.

Neither one. Sophie=French. Sofia=Spanish and Italian.

Italian I believe, but I'm only about 60% sure.

I know the French version of that name is Sophie, so its not French.
