It is as simples as this: God is the Absolute Creator Who is not created. He existed always. So will He exist forever. When we look upon ourselves, we find that we are also created rather than we being creator of ourselves. We are human. Our duty is to be righteous and call other people to be righteous as well to save all of us from torments of hell.
It starts from believing in the One Absolut Creator Who begets none nor is He begotten, in His angels, in His apostles or prophets, in His books revealed to the prophets, in the death and after live, on the dooms day and the Day of Judgement.
