To wash your face use products such as Aveeno, Cetaphil and Dove for sensitive skin. Then go to a dermatologist and they can prescribe creams such as Clindagel or Duac to name a couple. They may even prescribe a Retinoid like Differin or Retin-A Microgel. If you need a moisturizer you should use product such as Aveeno,Cetaphil,Neutragena or Eucerin. These are some of the best products. The biggest and hardest thing with acne is patience....Good luck and try some of the things I mentioned

Proactice COULD help but not always. If you don't use it right then it won't work for you (my friend doesn't use it right and she couldn't figure out why it wasn't doing anything) So make sure to rinse your face with water, dry on a towel, apply 1st thing and use a dime sized amount. once that's done wash it off. then on a cotton ball (half of one will work) squirt as much as needed of the 2nd thing and carefully dab at the places you need it (my friend wiped it across her face pretty violently so yeah) and then make sure you let that dry. And then apply the 3rd thing as much as you need.

The face mask (if you get it) is really amazing. I used to use Proactive but I became immune to it and now use a prescribed thing. But it will probably work for you. Just don't pick at your face! I touch my face all the time (not good) but because I've picked at my acne I have scars but because this prescribed stuff is working I haven't had any new pimples in a couple weeks. I'm just trying to get rid of my scars now!

Hope this helps! I know how ya feel! :)

P.S. you can email me- pianoplayer19@yahoo.com and then yeah. (It's not my personal email but I'll check it and yeah if you want to or yeah)

P.P.S. Proactive is NOT even half as expensive as the prescribed stuff I use (80 bucks!)

It depends on how severe your acne is. If you just have little bumps then proactiv or something topical will help. If you have very deep, swollen, and sore acne please please please try taking pantothenic acid (D-calcium pantothenate, a form of vitamin B5) supplements. It has been a lifesaver for me and now my brother, also with severe acne, has started taking it because he has seen the drastic improvement in my skin. You can do an internet search for pantothenic acid & acne or Dr.Leung and acne and get the information you need. You may also send me a message (making sure your settings allow you to receive messages as well so I can write you back) and I'd be glad to explain the study, how much you take, etc. Its too much to write if you aren't interested. Good luck with clearing your skin!

See a dermotologist and ask about accutane. It will clear it up. Also, try Panoxyl Bar 10% soap, can be found at any drugstore.
Moisturize with an oil free moisturizer, Cetaphil has some good ones.
And always wash face with cool water, never hot!!

Best of Luck!!

You should try Pro Active. It worked for my husband who had terrible acne. He doesn't have scarring or anything now. Also, it works very fast. Don't try Accutane unless nothing else works. It has terrible side effects. Use the source to see what I am talking about on the Accutane

you can't actually cure acne but i recommend you go see a dermatologist (did i spell it correctly??) anyway, they are the true experts and can provide the right medicine for your face. if the treatment is too expensive for you, i suggest you go to the doctor and ask about the condition of your face. he/she might advice you on what actions are needed to be taken and give you medicine (mine does)

good luck!!! :)

proactive worked really well for me i could tell the difference after the first day i used it.although it didn't work for my sister who has really bad acne i think it depends on how bad the acne is and the person.

proactiv is amazing. I use it and it works really well, your acne really does dissapera. a few other tips that I have learned is to aviod touching your face becasue it spreads oils, and if your going to go excresise you should rinse your face befroe and afterwards becasue it helps stop the spread os oil and germs.
