It's suppose to be unleavened bread. In the Bible leaven is a symbol of sin.

However, I remember using leaven bread in the church I was raised in. And one time it was Chicken in a Biscuit crackers!?

Once I tried to find a recipe on the internet for communion bread and I couldn't believe all the sites that used leaven bread.

They are supposed to be from unleaven bread. We use that at our services. I hope that you do too since that is what is called for in the scriptures. Have a great day.
