This girl i really like has seen me shut down a lot of girls. we're both in our first year of university now, and she's given me a couple of signs (looking back twice and smiling @ me).... does the fact that i shut down a lot of girls increase or decrease my chances with her?

Since she knows, I'd say decrease, but she's been giving you signs, so it probably doesn't matter.

Probably increases, most girls don't want to date a guy who'll climb all over anyone.
When you talk to her be really sweet and genuine so she's knows that you're not a jerk, just really selective

Doesn't affect anything, unless you're really mean about it, especially if you turned down one of her friends in a really cruel manner. But since she's flirting with you that's probably not the case. So if anything, it means more if you start dating.

WELL IT DEPENDS? DOES SHE KNOW THAT YOU LIKE HER. IF SHE KNOW THAT YOU LIKE HER THEN YES IT DOES INCREASE YOUR CHANCES. AS A MATTER OF FACT IF I WERE YOU, I WOULD GO AHEAD AND TRY TO GET WITH HER WHILE SHE IS CHECKIN YOU OUT.
