I already Have a Siberian Husky, should the two dogs get along? Do papillons get along with strangers or children?

I know I'm asking a lot but any info you can give me would be awesome! THANK YOU!!

Papillons are good with strangers and tend to get along with everyone as long as they're well socialized. They're very light-footed and lively, as well as playful. They're also one of the easiest toy breeds to train, as they catch on to new things quickly.

On the down side, they're very small dogs, so they're fragile. Small kids aren't good for papillons, since kids tend to be accidentally rough, and could hurt a papillon without meaning to. They also shed quite a bit, bark often, and need regular grooming. Like every toy breed, they can be difficult to housetrain, especially when it's bad weather outside.

How well does your Siberian husky do with small dogs? As long as your dog gets along with little dogs, a papillon and your resident dog will probably do just fine together. The only thing to watch out for is that some papillons have a tendency to be bossy with larger dogs, and if your sibe wouldn't like this, the papillon could be in danger. One very important thing with a papillon is to give them LOTS of socialization, or they'll have a tendency to be high-strung.

I hope that information helps!

The papillon is a wonderful pet. The breed, in general, tends to get along well with children and other pets. It is best if others are introduced while your papillon is young.

Papillon is intelligent and easy to train. This breed is alert and eager to learn.

They are fairly easy to care for. Pay extra attention to the coat. The silky hair can become matted if not brushed regularly. Brushing several times a week for 10 to 15 minutes is ideal. Longer hair behind the ears and on the belly are more prone to mats.

Each dog is UNIQUE and may display other characteristics.

Hope this help and good luck.
