Well, conjoined twins are usually not left connected into adulthood, unless they are joined in a place where it would be too dangerous to operate. This means that they would probably have very limited mobability....which makes the chances of one of them commiting murder even lower. Probably, they could not commit 1st degree murder without the other twin's consent, because that requires planning. The other twin would have to know about it...so if they did not try to stop it, they would also be guilty, and probably punished along with their twin. But, if it was something that happened more in the "heat of the moment" the guilty twin would probably be punished in a way that would be relatively fair to the innocent twin. If it was manslaughter, then I guess they would both be considered guilty, and be punished together.

I guess if it was one of those cases where surgery would only let one twin survive, and one got the death penalty, they could do the surgery, and allow the guilty one to die?

If it was safe to seperate them, I think they'd probably do so after the guilty one was sentenced.

That's just my guess.
I wonder if it's ever happened?

As one, because the other one was present and capable of preventing it? Maybe, I'm just talking out of my *** :). They would probably think about seperating them.
