First of all male birds will never kill their own babies boys or girls, please dont believe that other person. If they did there'd be none in the world. They are only known to kill babies of their own with too much interference from people when they are trying to raise the babies, and that is only if the people over stress them by moving them around way too much or never leaving them alone. And if they are in a flock setting with many nests around they would be too busy taking care of their own babies to worry about killing others.

Baby birds will chirp all day and all night long sometimes. Make sure you keep fresh SEED and wheat bread out for the parent 24/7 because thats how much they need to eat. It is very normal for the babies to cry nearly none stop with parakeets, just LEARN to ENJOY the sounds of babies.

Please, unless you are expierenced in handfeeding, which I can tell you aren't, please don't handfeed a bird. If done wrong it can kill or seriously maim the bird.

Too cold and the chick develops sour crop, where the food does not digest properly and they get an infection which can kill. Too hot and they get crop burn. Fed too much too fast, or too thin a formula and they can asperate, breathe the formula, and that will either suffocate them or cause pneumonia.

Please be warned, the image I'm giving you a link to is of crop burn in a cockatoo chick. It is very graphic, but you need to know what can happen. http://www.parrottalk.com/crop-burn-damage.htm

A chick will survive off of the yolk sack for 2-3 days before the parents start feeding. When my cockatiels were raising their chick, the baby would accually chirp when they were feeding it. One way to tell if they are feeding it is to look at the front of the chick. There should be a lump at the bottom of their neck in the front. This is the crop. You will see it if they are feeding, if it is hard to see, they may not be feeding, or may not be feeding yet.

If you are sure that it is the father killing the chicks, then remove him from the cage. After this chick either grows up or dies, don't let them breed again. It will save you the heartache.

You would have to take the entire nest out of the cage and place it under a brooder lamp or a heating pad. the tempature needs to stay at a 95 degrees. And every week you decreass the tempature by 5 degrees until you hit 70 degrees. by that time they should be learning how to fly and how to walk and stuff. But hand feeding is hard work. you have to feed them every 30 to 60 min. you should feed them a mixture of:

-Dog food
-warm water
-1 hard boiled egg yolk
- and sugar
Place the dog food in a small cup and microwave it with water untill warm. then mix the egg yolk in it. then add sugar. NEVER try to give the chicks plain water. They get there water from the moister in the food they eat.

Feeding them could be difficult to. The easyest way to do it is take a plastic straw and cut the tip until it is in the shape of little spoon. then place a small chunk of the food on it and stick the little spoon in there mouth. feed every one of them until they stop poking there heads out for more.

The easyist thing to do would be to call the SPCA. if you surrender them they will have a good chance of survival.

Male birds will sometimes kill baby males, because they see it as a rival. Make sure there is plenty of food and water available, and avoid handling the baby. If the birds are not used to your smell, they will smell it on the baby, and kill it.
