People should care about illnesses as much as they care about love, joy, passion, and silliness. All are parts of life. Life is short, so things like illnesses should be diagnosed and treated--to give people a better quality of life.

Your question does not make sense. You cannot careless about being depressed or being sick, how can you? That is a part of life and we all go through both at some time or another. We need to have compassion for those who are depressed or ill, if we don't we are uncaring and callous.

I blow with the wind. What happens, happens. Don't sweat the little stuff.
