I am a "Jr". My dad passed away 2 years ago. My birth certificate says "Jr" and that is my name. The "Sr" was used as a recognition and was never a part of his legal name. If Fred Jr has a son that he names "Fred", he would be Fred the 3rd (usually spelled with Roman numerals) this type doesn't print in a way to show you.
Whatever is on his birth certificate is his legal name forever, unless he legally changes it.

If Fred Jr. is on his birth certificate then his name stays Fred Jr. This is why a lot of families have started to leave the Jr. off the B.C. and and just tack it on at home in an informal way. If a third generation is named they'll just go straight to "the third" or "lll". This way the re aren't any 99yr. old Jr.s at the family reunions.

Fred Jr.'s name stays the same. But if Fred Jr. has a son, the son would be Fred the Third a.k.a Fred III

It stays the same, Fred Jr. If Fred Jr. has a son and names him Fred, the son would be Fred III.

No, because of the fact Fred Weasley is actual a intense-high quality individual. He may well be a trickster, yet he continues to be intense-high quality to people. James Potter has continuously struck me as a cocky jerk. Plus, he replaced right into a bully. The stuff he and the Marauders did to Severus wasn't humorous, it replaced into flat-out merciless. Fred and George are not merciless. they're extra elegant of their jokes till they're doing it to jerks like Umbridge or Filch. Oh wait.....are you speaking approximately James Potter Jr. as in Harry's dad, or Harry's son? Sorry, i'm at a loss for words now. James Potter, Sr. replaced into never suggested interior the books, so his character can't be analyzed while you're speaking approximately JP Sr. as in Harry's grandpa.
