"have you travelled ABROAD?"
in that sentence means that.

The word is misspelled, it's spelled EXTRANJERO in Spanish.

Also means foreigner. But in the context, in that question, it means abroad.

"El es extranjero" = "He's a foreigner"

Also could be used as a noun in another country
"He lives in another country" = "Él vive en el extranjero"
