Just to let you know- that girl's father blessed the marraige, and there was a wedding, and she was his WIFE- he did not meet with her in secret, to seek simple gratification and then leave her after he was satisfied.
He took care of her until the day he died, protected her and loved her. She became one of the first scholars of Islam, and spoke of him years and years after his death in the most loving manner. She was not a victim and she became like a mother to all Muslims. Girls did not play with Barbie dolls and attend school like they do today- they were brought up working hard under the feet of their mothers, cooking and being prepared to be wives and mothers. As soon as they had their periods they were of child bearing age and were married. Today society is differant, and people focus more on schooling, and careers and playing games than on marraige and family. This was almost 1500 years ago.
