the easiest way to tell if any food item is the number of ingredients it contains. whole foods that are 100% natural only contain 1 ingredient. personally I stick to food items that contain 5 ingredients or less on the label.

Although I cannot answer this question directly, my advice is to look on the Nutrition Facts and see how much calories and fat it has per serving.
A healthy breakfast cereal should not have more than:
~6 grams of fat per serving
~10 grams of sugar per serving
If you think the cereal is a little tasteless, add some fruit to give it more flavor! Special K is a good and healthy breakfast cereal. :) I know it doesn't exactly answer if Crispix or Crispy Rice is healthy, but I hope this does help!

They're not the worse, but these aren't whole grain cereals so they're really low in fiber. You want low sugar (which you have) but you also want high fiber. Rule of thumb is that the cereal should have a 20% dietary fiber written on its label. I doubt if rice based cereals would have much fiber.
Have you tired Post Honey Nut Shreded Wheat? It's yummy and high fiber and it's still sweet enough. My fave.

of course, rice cereals are of a rice it self rice, the asians eat rice everyday i guess then, eating rice cereal in moderation is cool like anything else by the way i heard one time that eating too much cereal with wheat can cause brain nerve damage.

it is very healthy. much better then most of the junk out there. its not filled with alot of unnaturals (like lots of other foods). it also is a cereal lower in sugars than most which is not bad . plus with the milk this is a good balanced quite healthy meal(of course it's not brocolli;but healthy)

There are lots more nutritious cereals out there.
Do you have "Barbara" brand in your area? Their cereals are all good for you.
Look at your local health food store.
Boring though it may be, oatmeal is really good for you.
