Try a dandruff shampoo like Medi Dan Classic Formula Medicated Dandruff Treatment Shampoo with Medi-Tar or Ion Clear-T Dual Action Anti-Dandruff Shampoo. They have an added ingredient that acts as a mild abrasive to shake dandruff loose from the scalp and wash it away. These shampoos are designed to remove OILY DANDRUFF not dry dandruff, which is typically caused by overuse of chemicals or styling aids. If dandruff is from dry scalp, you can use a dry scalp shampoo, such as Medi Dan Dry Scalp Formula Dandruff Control Shampoo with Zinc Pyrithione, or a moisturizing shampoo. No dandruff shampoo will cure a medical skin condition, such as eczema or psoriasis. If you suspect this is the cause, consult your doctor or a dermatologist.

Dandruff is a mysterious ailment. Mysterious, in that there is no commonly agreed upon theory about what actually causes the condition. It is estimated that as much as 97% of the population of the United States will at some point in their lives have a form of dandruff, but there is still a lack of total agreement about this condition.
Dandruff can happen at any age but is most commonly found in people between the ages of 12 and 80. (A form of dandruff known as cradle cap occurs in newborns and infants).
Dandruff is an itchy, annoying and persistent skin disorder of the scalp. A dark shirt and dandruff just simply don't go together! There is nothing more embarrassing than to have someone brush white flakes off your new black sweater or denim jacket. In the past ten years dandruff problems in the United States have become more serious and more frequent.
First you should know that a person's entire body surface continuously sheds dead skin cells. The skin itself sheds every twenty-four days. Dandruff is the result of the normal growing process of the skin cells of the scalp. Shedding of dead skin cells from the scalp at an excessive rate, is the result of the normal growing process of the skin cells of the scalp.
In a normal scalp, the process of sloughing off old cells and manufacturing of their replacements is very orderly and complete. In the dandruff scalp, there is mass disorder and often the departing cells are not dead before leaving the scalp.
There appear to be two different causes of dandruff -- internal and external. Some of the internal causes include hormonal imbalance, poor health, poor hygiene, allergic hypersensitive, lack of rest, emotional stress,
excessive consumption of sugar, fat, starch, improper nutrition, and heredity predisposition. The external causes are excessive use of hair sprays and gels improper use of hair-coloring products or excessive use of hot hair curlers or curling irons, cold weather and dry indoor heating, stress and anxiety, and infrequent shampooing of the hair or inadequate rinsing of the scalp and hair.

raw unpastuerized apple cider vinegar, cost $5 a bottle
Hair & Scalp- Seborrheic Dermatitis (Severe Dandruff)
Brijette of Bettendorf, Iowa writes us, "My Chiropractor told me to use vinegar on my baby girl's cradle cap. I applied it straight and let it sit for 10 minutes before her bath. I've done this only four times now and her cradle cap is almost gone already!!! Maybe this straight vinegar treatment could work for other scalp problems as well."
Anne writes, " I have dark hair which is very oily. I use apple cider vinegar as a hair rinse, it helps to dissolve buildup, which results in much shinier hair. It has also been very beneficial for my dandruff."
A reader from Boston, MA writes, "I'm so happy that I found this site. I have applied straight apple cider vinegar 30 min before washing my hair and the flaking is almost gone. It has taken five treatments and WOW what a difference. It make my hair shiny too (extra bonus)."
Now science tells us that it promotes blood circulation in the small blood capillaries that irrigate the skin. It is also antiseptic, combating yeasts, viruses, and bacteria that can cause infection.
Apple cider vinegar is rich in alpha-hydroxy acids, helping to dissolve fatty deposits on the skin’s surface and reducing scaly conditions, promoting a softer, smoother appearance. This miracle fluid also regulates the pH of the skin.
You won’t believe how many ways apple cider vinegar can be used to promote healthier skin and hair! Find out some of the couldn’t-be-simpler ways to put it to work for you, below:
Dandruff fighter: Mix 1 part apple cider vinegar to 3 parts warm water to balance scalp pH and control dandruff. You can also apply undiluted vinegar to the scalp. Allow it to penetrate, then shampoo with a mild shampoo.

for the time being,if you want to use traditional and non-chemical methods, i suggest you can use lime juice and apply it to your scalp and wrap your head with a towel and leave it overnight.
but from the way you describe your dandruff problem, i think you should go see a doctor. you should talk to your parents about it and get it treated right away.hope that helps.

Go see a doctor and they will prescribe you a prescription shampoo or conditioner. My friend was like you, had SO many flakes on her head, it turned out she had dry scalp. She got something for it, and now her scalp is fine and not flaky.
