I myself have wondered if they are transmissible via toilet seats as well. If they can survive on clothing, then why not a toilet seat?

Scabies is mainly spread by skin to skin contact. It can also be spread by contact with clothing that was exposed to the scabies wound.

scabies is not spread by sexual intercourse. It is a microscopic creature that lives on anything with blood.

i got it (only had it once) from someone who slept in my bed who had it. I didnt wash the sheets, slept in the bed overnight and got it a day later.
