He says he Loves me , but seldom compliments me ...Never likes to be touched except holding hands unless we are in bed where he is passionate and will cuddle all night...likes to sleep holding me...which I like too ...outside of bed and /or sex why does he hate me to touch his hair , his body , he doesn't even enjoy a massage, and vice versa never touches me except for holding hands..He tells me to be still...What does this mean? Do any of you hate to be touched and why ? I have tried it soft, rough , in between .....It makes me feel rejected ..he says it is just how he is and it is not personal ..yeah....I am a very touchy kind or person ..Are we doomed? Otherwise he is fun , interesting , and a good man ..help..

yeah i'd say its a problem. U cant help the kind of person u are and he cant either and he doesnt want to put forth an effort to make u feel wanted. You should not be made to feel neglected by your man. If he's not a touchy feely kind of guy he should show u in other ways. Like telling you that you're pretty or he likes how u dress or wear your hair or something. If he doesnt show his feelings and doesnt like when u show yours then what do u guys do when you're together?

I don't like to be touched either. My husband loves to but not me. I have not been diagnosed but there is a syndrome out there. Can't think of the name, but it has to do with sensory overload. I can feel the touch and he is not even touching me yet. He just has to get close. This is not a problem in bed just else where. Just looked up the name it is sensory integration. They use pressure brushing techniques for it. You need a therapist to do it and a doctors prescription. It can work for awhile and then stop. So you must be careful. Our marriage is great, but my husband is wonderful. Hope you can work it out. good luck

Some people just arent the touchy feely kind of people, like me. I am perfectly fine with holding hands but when it comes to anything else, i just cant stand it. If its just the way he is, then let him be the way he is. He can't change how he is for you. Just let him be himself and maybe he will grow into being a touchy feely kind of guy.

dunno. my female cousin was that way for a long time..so she said. some mental quirk. Its not physical cuz he doesnt have a problem otherwise. should see a shrink if it bothers him or you if you find it difficult to live with. peace
