The fact that we DON'T have a dead body is your proof!

Jesus was witnessed by over 500 people alive after He was crucified and over an approx 30 day period before He accended into Heaven.

Christianity is the ONLY religion that boasts a risen from the dead Savior!

No other religion even makes that claim

When Jesus Christ rose again from the grave, He walked among the people for 40 days. Then He ascended to the Father in Heaven. This simple fact alone was why Christianity spread like wild fire!! This was an embarrassment to the Roman Government! The only way that they shut down the movement was to come up with the body of Christ!! They ruled the entire civilized world at that time and they couldn't provide the body. Why should we think that they can come up with it now?

First you have to have the faith then you will receive proof by the Holy Ghost. This may not happen all at once but in time by studying the scriptures and prayer you can come to a sure knowledge that JESUS LIVES, That he died on the cross and was taken his body up again so that all man kind may be part of the resurrection.

There are no retarded questions.

Just inquisitive idiots.
Kidding aside, I'm seeing a lot of "I know because I believe" answers. Flaw in that logic... I can easily say "I know purple unicorns exist because I believe it."
Doesn't work, does it?

You can't prove it. Just because there's no body doesn't mean he "ascended into heaven". There are multiple explanations for why this could have happened.

1. The guards hid him.
2. A fanatic follower wanted to perpetuate the myth.
3. THE WHOLE STORY IS MADE UP. This story PERFECTLY mirrors the story of Mithras, a tale FAR outdating Christianity.

I'm not sure what you are asking, but I am sure of what I believe because I have experienced what the Bible says we can. Read John 3 and Acts 2. Millions of people all over the world have experienced changed lives after believing the gospel, and have been delivered from alcoholism, drug addiction, witchcraft and immoral lifestyles.

No question is a bad one if it is asked sincerely.
We have the testimony of the witnesses as recorded in the Bible.

Notice this: Christ revealed Himself ONLY to those that believed on Him (that is, AFTER His resurrection)
and never did to unbelievers.
This same thing is true today. If someone is truly seeking the truth, seeking Him, then He shows Himself to that person.
If someone isn't seeking, or even believing, He will not reveal Himself to that person.

I believe in God and Jesus and I know He's for sure because I believe Gods word. You dont have to go to church to know this. You can read your bible, look outside and see all that He created. When you see a building, you know someone built it even know you didnt see who it was. Or a painting, you dont know the artist, but you know their is one. Same with God, just because we dont see Him the way we think we should doesnt mean He doesnt exist

I RESENT PEOPLE WHO THINK THEY HAVE TO PROVE SOMETHING TO ME UNDER THE ASSUMPTION THAT I AM MISINFORMED.

I do my own research and am capable of making my own decisions. It seems to me that you need to do more studying of your own. You need a great deal of time in the classroom studying history so that you can begin to understand the variety of beliefs in the world and respect peoples individuality.

Your question isn't 'retarded'. In fact it is an excellent question. Keep asking questions like that and never stop.

May the light of knowledge broaden your mind. Peace.

All we have is the eye witness testimony of the people who saw Him after He was raised from the dead (supposedly, as the atheists would say). Thats how we know for sure!

You don't prove it. If proof were available, faith would play no part in religion. The best you can do to "show" others that what you believe is valid is to actively live out your faith in their presence
