I'm a 17 year old male in the houston area. I am enrolled in a program that does weekend park cleanups but is there anything I can do after school? Where can I find places to volunteer?

Contact your local volunteer center. They provide a connection between you and all sorts of great volunteer opportunities through various local non-profit agencies in your community.

I recommend your local Hands On Network affiliate, Volunteer Houston:

Here are some other volunteer centers in the area:

Volunteer centers specialize in connecting you with one-time, short-term, and long-term opportunities, and can usually connect you with projects that match your interests.

Good luck!
