My wedding dress shows the tattoo on my back and I would really prefer it not to be shown. Any suggestions on how I can cover it. A scarf would not be appropriate with the dress and veil.

there's a creme called derma blend..that will match your skin tone exactly..and has excellent coverage.....
google " derma blend".....maybe sephora carries it..or beauty supply store.

You really do not have any reasonable choices. I know that Davids Bridal now carries tattoo cover up, but after you apply the makeup, the tattoo looks like someone hit you with a bat and left a bad bruise. Plus, any of the makeup that they sell will rub off, and nothing is sexier on your wedding day then makeup all over your white dress. I am having the same dilemma as you, and I have opted for a shawl for walking down the isle, and for pictures with my family, but other then that, I am showing my tatts!!

Try make-up. They have some that is specially made to cover a tattoo.

you may be able to have it airbrushed with an airbrush makeup. ben nye also makes a theater makeup that is used in theater to cover tattoos. you can buy it on the internet.

All you have to do is look for a white shawl that matches up with your dress and Vail and then drape it over your tatt because a scarf is not what you need have you ever seen those shawls they sell with prom dresses I would say look for one of those

definitely try coverblend by exuvience, or dermablend. you have to use the setting powder because it you do not it will not work and will not be water resistant at all.
i liek coverblend better, but make sure you get some help with a beauty consultant at ulta or sephora.

there is this make-up called dermablend that can cover up tattoos... you can get it from a dermatologist or online... it works very well i've had to use it a few times on the tattoo i have on my wrist.

You could always get laser surgery !
Option two, is to apply clothing to that area to take it off.
