i live on the west coast and charge $3.00-$5.00 per hour per child. I work on a sliding scale and only take 4 children at a time. They are all over 18 months old.

For more local info, i highly suggest checking Craigslist in your area.

I live in MI and also have a degree in early childhood education. I did in home day care for about 2 yrs and I charged $4.00 an hour per child. If the family had mor than one child I charged 2.00 for each additional child. Good Luck!!! I absolutely loved it but decided to stop because my own children were getting involved in sports and dance and it was hard to attend field trips and stuff like that!
