I once thought as you did. Then I finally was able to disregard all prejudices and biases and rumors I'd heard about all the different religions. I ended up recognizing that the truth was actually taught by a religion that I was told to hate growing up. I actually began to look into their beliefs to prove them wrong and I was humbled. I still can't find a flaw in their teaching to this day, and it has been over 10 years. Can you guess what religion it is?

You're talking about religion, the only person it needs to make sense to is the person believing it. Because religion is faith based there is no way you can prove, or disprove, what one person believes. I think we then must just respect everyone's choice to be religious or not and not judge someone on their religion. We should look at a person based on their behavior, their morals, their record, etc. My religion makes sense to me, or I wouldn't be a part of it, but I don't expect it to make sense to anyone else. If it does, great! If not, oh well.

I choose to believe that every religion is created to control others and find meaning to life and the injustice of the world today. I believe if we all respected and loved each other, we would not need religion. The world would be a just place to live and people would not have to try to find answers to why so many horrors exist in our society today.

Yes, Buddhism makes sense, bec it is more of a philosophy. It is very interesting and its the only thing I've found so far that makes any sense. Also Vedic philosophy (from ancient India) is very profound and beautiful.
