Creationists like to ignore all evidence that points away from their beliefs. Everytime facts are presented to them, they just cover their ears and go, "lalalala!" It's like when a 5-year-old child ignores an adult when presented with something he or she doesn't want to hear, even if it's fact.

The common chimpanzee's closest relative is the Bonobo (sometimes called the "pygmy chimpanzee").
His equal third and fourth closest are the two species of gorilla.
His fifth closest is the Orang Utang.
Can anyone guess which species is the common chimp's second closest relative?
Hint: starts with "H".

I think DNA is complete and total crap! People say the bible is made up and God is not real, but what about all this science crap!? What makes u believe all of it is sooo true!?! Do u honestly think that like 2 or 300 years ago some guy was like ewww! electrons orbit a nucleus with protons and neutrons in the center!? yea yea! what makes u think that isn't made up!? And even if our DNA is close or whatever that doesn't mean didly nothin! Do u think chimps have souls!? nope! they don't think like us, they don't feel like us; they live and die. We live forever in either heaven or hell! The choice is all yours! :]]

We know and understand about 1% of the DNA code. And with that in mind, if you were to change 1.2% of the words in any book, you would change the entire meaning of the story. We share DNA with other life and that points to a Creator!!

wow lovely how they immediately go it was god and don't give scientific evidence. Oh and as for other animals our DNA isn't shared as closely as it is with chimps. chimps are our closest animal relative. the other examples are void and ignorance in science is shown here

im a darwanist but believe in using fare arguments.
All of the animals are atleast 80% the same. The difference arises based on how these genes are prepared and ordered.

It wouldn't be by coincidence, but design. God made us this way for a reason. But the other 2% is special, for us, so we aren't descendant from chimps.
