I am trying to decide between the Britax Toddler Seat (either the Roundabout or the Decathlon). Does anyone have any advice or experience with them? Or, if there is another brand you like, I'm open to suggestions. Just trying to find the safest seat that will last until our child is older. Thank you!

Hey there,
I ended up getting the Britax Boulevard - I liked the side impact things, mostly b/c it looked more comfortable to fall asleep on! (We take lots of long road trips to visit family) I ended up getting it for him when he was 6 or 7 months because he outgrew his infant one so fast, and I thought he'd be more comfortable in either that one or the Decathlon. I ended up picking the Boulevard b/c I got it for a great sale price at a local store.

All the Britax carseats are fantastic, so it's really just a matter of personal choice for you. They are easy to install (well, as easy as installing a carseat can be) and very high quality. The only difference between the Roundabout and the Decathlon seems to be comfort. The Decathlon has more padding and cushioning, which I liked, especially if you are using it for a younger child. I think the difference is like 20 bucks, so if it's worth it to you, just spring for the Decathlon.

I figured that the price of the Britax was worth it because they are the only toddler seat that goes up to 65 pounds. If you get any other brands, you will just have to buy another one when they hit 40 pounds. My son loves his! Personally, I'd love to get chaffeured around in my own personal throne! Good luck, hope this helps!

I have the Britax Roundabout for both of my girls. Have had it before they were a year old and they are 3 now, and still working perfectly. It has been easy to change from car to car, even though we rarely ever change it. It has also been comfortable for my girls for long car rides. It has worked out for us great so far!!!
