Apparently, from what I just read at http://www.lotterypost.com/news/130707.htm you can form a trust with an attorney to claim the prize for you in order to remain anonymous.

Another way I would say you could conceal your identity, is to legally change your name and get a complete makeover (plastic surgery) to the point where you are no longer recognizable. You would have enough money for that, I'm sure. Or the easiest way would be to go claim your prize wearing a fake beard, mustache, sunglasses, hat, etc., but I'm not sure that would work too well if you're a woman.

You wouldn't happen to be someone from New Jersey who won half of the $390 million Mega Millions jackpot now, would you?

The best way or the most reasonable way? It makes a difference. The best way to conceal your identity is to not claim the prize. If I won the lottery, I would not choose that method. Get a lawyer and a CPA. Discuss your options with them. Then consult an investment firm which has a very good reputation. Then claim your winnings and follow the sound advice of professionals. As far as identity goes, that's your business.

I think with most lotto's you have to identify yourself , when winnin a lotto you sign a paper stating that you'll be used for advertzing like t.v. ads and what not....Lotto people tell all those that win to leave for 6 weeks after winning this way most people will stop asking for money and you wont have family that you didn't know come out of the wood work as they say.
