Get the dog treated and you shouldn't have a problem. Take him to the vet to find out what kind of worms he has and ask the vet if the family is at risk, and how to deal with that.

Only if your kids ingest the worms. Which believe it or not happens all the time. Small kids step in or touch feces and then they are always sticking their hands in their mouths, causing them to swallow eggs and get worms.

yes your children can get the worms. especially if they put fingers in mouth after touching dog or the dirt the dog has touched outside. take him to vet and get him dewormed doesn't cost that much.

Get the dog to the vet for one thing. When I watch Funniest Animals on tv, and see dogs scooting around on their baksides I want to yell at the family to get it dewormed. It is not a fun thing for the animal and your children are at risk. Spend the money on the vet and get piece of mind and ask him a bout what you need to do in and around your house to get rid of that which endangers your children.
