Tomorrow i have this thing at school and long story short.. Does anyone know how to speak english but like with a french accent? I am supposed to be from France...

I am not being graded on wether i can do an accent. It is just a fun part of the thing. I didn't wanna have to explain this but if i must...
It is called Immigration Day. We put together groups, or "Families" and then go through the Ellis Island experience. I am from France and i wanted to speak with a french accent. kk?

Well, it looks like the time has passed, but I will answer anyways. The French do not pronounce t-h's like we do, because any t-h's in their languages are usually just pronounced like t's. But a French person trying to make the t-h sound would instead say it like a z. Also, pronounce i's like long e's.

Instant accents. What a novel concept. Listen to French Language tapes and repeat what you hear.

In all likelihood, since you have put this off so long, you will not do well.

Start your homework earlier.

Rent the movie "Pink Panther", the one with Steve Martin and repeat the phrase "I would like to buy a cheeseburger".

If this doesn't work, then watch the Monty Python "Holy Grail" movie and fast forward to the trojan rabbit scene. :)

Don't speak with accentuations, don't pronunce the "h" which are in the beginning of the words.
Pronunce "th" as a "z".
Tell the "r" in a rude way.

put the stress on the last syllable
change 'th' to 'z'
make your vowels "short"

the 't' sound with a 'z'. and words like look and book should rhyme with luke.
