I am a very open person and when my boyfriend and I get in a lil fight he wont talk to me he just walks away or sits there mad. Every time I say can we talk about it, he says no because he thinks it will just start an argument. I hate it I like to talk about things and make them better but its impossable. the thing is he will hold all these things in and when he has a few beers he blows up. then what do I do? He wants to talk about it when he has been drinking and i refuse.

He sounds like he has communication problems. He gets brave and says things only when he's drunk. He needs to learn to trust you enough to open up to you. He may be afraid that if he says something to you, you might take it wrong and it might make things worse. Think about what he says when he's drunk. Don't talk to him when he's in that frame of mind, just take mental notes.

Hes habbits are noT acceptable unless you dont mind have an abusive husband later.
Considser very seriousaly breaking up w the guy for good unless u can settle the differences that really matter and he can stop using beer as a crutch.

Guys are very wierd like that. I think they's just rather cool off and give you space, they want to just leave it be, where as we women like to talk about everything and get everything out in the open. I think that it's healthy to talk about whatever it is that bothers you and to resolve arguments. However, sometimes you have to pick and choose your battles. Sometimes, you just have to agree to disagree. I would compromise on that with him. Let petty stuff go but he has to compromise with you, and talk about stuff that is important. Communication is key to making any relationship work. Let him know how you feel!

Guys are not emotional....Well most of them anyway. I used to date a guy like that and finally left him because he ended up having a very bad drinking problem. If he don't want to talk about things then you can't make him because that will obviously make things worse.

If you really want to know why he acts the way he does read"men are from mars women are from Venus".You might even get him to read it .You will be amazed at the difference between women and men and how they think differently.Its a very easy to read book and will make all your men relationships better,and vice versa for your boyfriend.Good luck

well you need toa sk him in anice way when you are not ina afigth about that.Tell him that he should tell you everything he is not comfortable with.Thats he does not need beers to talk.When you talk sound serious not playful

maybe he doesnt want u to know why b/c he feels you'll lose respect for him if he feels its a dumb reason... tell him these words, it worked when i needed to get the words out of my gf: "plz tell me wats wrong, idc wat the reason is or if its stupid, just tell me, it wont change the way i feel about you" see if tht works, if it doesnt hes prob just spoiled and stubborn and u deserve better
