It's actually called Statute of Limitations and it varies from State to State. In Texas it is 10 years from the date of outcry. Which means if you rape a 7 year old and the victim doesn't tell anyone until they are 18, then the 10 year limitation doesn't start until then.

The statute of limitations for child rape will vary by state. Without knowing the specific state, circumstances, and ages, there is no way to give a good answer to that question.
In general, rape and serious child molestation cases will have a VERY long SOL. In some states there will be no SOL and a case can be prosecuted at any time sufficient evidence emerges to support the charge.

The statute of limitations for any crime varies form state to state, or country to country. I thought the statute for child molestation STARTED when the child became a legal adult. I have no idea how long it runs.

I think you mean statute of limitations, and the answer is different for each state. In which state do you live?

I don't think there is a Statute of Limitations for Felonies. There shouldn't be because there are victims rights to be concerned about.

Do you mean the statute of limitations?
In Canada there isn't one. Someone can be prosecuted for this crime regardless of how long it has been.
