I think I have mono,help??

I think I got mono from one of my friends and I think it was because he had mono and I drank after him,is that possible?Because I know that one of the sypmtoms is getting sick and having a sore throat and I already have that.I also don't know how to tell my mom that I want to go to the doctors,and now I'm scared to even like kiss my mom or dad.And does anyone know what the doctor will do for tests?[like pee in a cup or draw blood]

A blood test will confirm mono nucleosis. Its not something to be embarrased about. Just go to the docs for the test.
