I have a tiny dot-sized mole on my face. It's towards my eye and a bit close to my nose. It's rather tiny and light. I got it earlier this year and it's been bugging me ever since. I asked dozens of questions on multiple forums about mole-removing products but no one seem to reply. Should I buy Dermatend from http://www.molegone.net/ ? Is it a scam? Does the product work?

It's just that one particular mole that's bothering me (not that I suspect it's a cancer mole or anything). Should I just poke and prick at it with a toothpick? I think it wouldn't leave much of a mark and it probably wouldn't be too hard.

What do you guys think?

PS. Don't talk about mole-removing surgery because I don't think it's necessary for ONE dot-sized mole.

Regardless of the size of the mole, a dermatologist is the only way to go. I would not recommend ever trying to remove a mole on your own and over-the-counter products for moles have not been successful. By trying to do this yourself, you are putting yourself at risk for blindness since it is near the eye and scarring. Since this is on the face, it is even more imperitive to have it removed by a dermatologist.

Poking or pricking a mole will not make it go away! It is not a zit. Why does it bug you? If it is only because it is there, try to accept it for what it is...a beauty mark...or cover it with makeup. If it is because it is raised and is in the way of applying eye makeup or wearing glasses, then all the more reason to see a dermatologist.
