If a guy and girl hug for a long time it usually means they have some feelings for each other. The longer the hug, the more comfortable you feel with the other person.

It really depends on the situation and the people. If either person felt something when they hugged then it probably meant something but if they didn't then it was just a friendly hug.

well firstly it could mean that their in love but what is intresting to note is one can't realy say the're in love and not like hug for long periods

there is so many meaning of it. i don't think any malace of it.
for me, this will happen when i meet my friend for a long time i didn't see her.
