I am very interested in photography, wether it be people or nature, or anything else of that matter. I am trying to find a company who will look at my photos and tell me if i am going in the right direction or if i am wasting my time...can u help me?

maybe you could phone local clubs and groups and offer photo sessions at discounted prices. For example I own and run a small dancing school in Bucks and I am always getting calls from photo studios to do sessions but I turn them down because they charge too much for a lot of my dancing families. a decent, cheaper option would be great so I'm sure others would agree. Also you are then getting known amongst families and therefore school parent word of mouth.

If you post the links on here to the images, you are bound to get a responce by both amateurs and professionals alike.

I'd look over them for you and give you a very honest opinon. However, my views have been known to be quite blunt (which isn't always good).

Another site is Deviant Art (www.deviantart.com) which is an online community for people to display their photos.

You can join the photography studio at http://www.zoetrope.com/

I have been a member for years. It is the best such community I have found on the Internet. You critique others photos, and they critique yours. You get honest, constructive advise from other photographers from all over the world.

You can post on www.photobucket.com but I am not certain as to whether it is a site that offers critiques from other users.
