i smelt my birds head the other day and he smelt sweat and very good do u know y???

I love birds too. I have 3 of them. And yes, they do smell sweet. Aren't they the most affectionate, cute little pets? What kind of bird do you have?

Some birds do have very nice smells. Lories and Lorikeets smell incredibly good! I think its from the fruit and necter they eat. One day I was at the Fort Worth zoo and was walking down a path. I suddenly smelled this wonderful sweet smell and said "There are Loires here!" I came around the corner, and sure enough, there they were!
Oh, by the way, forget vultures. Pee-uuuuuu

No idea. Now that you mention it, it smells sort of like a newborn baby's head.
Birds have little if any sense of smell, except for vultures who can smell rotting meat.
It must be our mammalian tendency to like the scent of those we love.

I have an indian ringneck parrot and she smells kinda like corn chips? I can't really describe what the smell is. At first I didn't really like it but now I like it when she sits on my shoulder and I can smell her - it is sweet.

THERE R 3 TYPES OF BIRDIES I KNOW OF. ONE IS THE ONES THAT FLY AND PEOPLE SHOT. TWO IS THE ONES MOSTS PRO GOLFERS GET TO MAKE THE CUT. maybe hes just got the funk. i dont particularly like birds because they poop everywhere it seems and they just flap their wings and squak too much for me...
