I have known this guy for a couple of years now, we have a lot of mutual friends, but we never really hung out together alone. And resently I started liking him more than friends. For a while it seemed like the feeling was mutual. He started coming over my house we hung out together. (I couldnt see him everyday cause he lives an hour away and we both have jobs and school) But every chance we got we were together. But from time to time he would act really weird. Like we would be together and all of a sudden he would say he has to leave and go back home. It looked like he had something else on his mind all the time. And one time he told me not too get too attached to him because hes very busy with work and studying, and we wouldnt be able to see each other. What is going on with him? Any Ideas?

He sounds like hes not ready for a romantic relationship but also isn't rejecting the idea. Preheps he values your friendship and would like to leave a window open up for a future romantic relationship but just not at the moment. Take it slow and I am sure when hes ready and you're ready everything will work out.

He likes your company and likes being your friend, but as for something more than that, probably not. He's most likely in the middle of liking another girl, but he's still trying to be nice to you. He probably doesn't want to hurt your feelings by saying "hey, i like someone else and i can't see/hang out with you anymore." So I guess atleast he still hangs out with you? But I don't think it's fair if he will hang out and then up and leave all the time. You should talk to him about it

umm maybe he is in a commited relationship with another girl, but he likes you and he doesnt know what to do?
