Could you tell us the breed of dog if you know?
I usually enjoy going by the country of Origin my dog came from.
Examples of my dogs names:
Akita (male) Tokyo
Chows (male) Beijing, Ninja, Shang hai, Sumo (aka Sumo Wrestler, was chubby chow lol)
German Shepherd (female) Berlin
Or you can go by color....(my current dog is black and named "onyx". If it's white & black....Oreo or Panda. etc.
Maybe you could describe his coloring & breed to us and that would help....let us know when you pick one!

I agree with Bruno.
Otherwise you could go for an odd name like Tiger, or a normal name like Dog.

I always give my dogs people names. Keep it to one not more than two syllables, because dogs only recognize the first syllable of a word. Pete, george, tom jake, mancy, lucy, etc.
