Hotels can impose their own rules and you may find some that are prepared to let you stay even though you're 17.

However, this is doubtful as they can't actually make you pay for the simple reason that the law states you have to be 18 to enter into a contract and when you stay in a hotel you're entering into a contract. To put it simply, you could stay in a hotel, run up a large bill, walk out without paying and the hotel can't do anything to get their money.

As has been mentioned, the hotel may request credit card payment (it's up to the hotel how the want to get paid).

Phone the hotel and see what the arrangements are. They may be more willing to accept you if the booking is made by an adult even if the adult isn't staying at the hotel.

It is definitely not older than 18; however you normally have to present a credit card on check-in for which you really will need to be 18.
Why don't you call the hotel and ask them, then you'll know for sure - you'll find the number at http://www.ichotels.com/

Legal age of responsibility is 16 in the UK. I don't see any problems but phone them first. You don't have to pay by credit card. Cash or cheque is fine
