I assume you mean humans - I think one has active growth from puberty through adolescence, but you can grow in height until your late teens. If you are really short or your height is that bothersome I believe some doctor can give you hormones. I would think most doctors or other individuals will tell you being short is all in your head - yadda yadda. I think it is your life and your desires need to be addressed. You can even get bone stretching in the legs but that is painful and slow in results let alone the scarring. body building can add somewhat, platform shoes you could check out if your spine is curved. here's looking up at you - and I'm 5' 10"
