Hundreds of thousands of Canadians are illegally overstaying in the United States right now.
www.azcentral.com/arizonarepublic/news/articles/1224overstays.html

Because Canadians are not required to earn their entry into the United States (passports-only), many enter and stay illegally (READ ARTICLE ABOVE).

Do you consider "overstaying" an acceptable form of illegal immigration?
Or does it really come down to race/culture that determines which illegals you are willing to allow?

I think it would bother them less because it is no longer considered "illegal" entry". I have heard that the Irish are the ones with the biggest % of overstays.

No, but if there were only hundreds of thousands of Mexicans here illegally, our number of illegals would be millions and millions less than it is. The numbers, not the specific people, is the issue. Too many poor people who don't make enough money to pay enough taxes to cover their children's education, much less the costs of other services they and WE use means that their better life is at the expense of our children, sick and poor.

Overstaying is no different from illegal entry as far as the burden goes, unless the people who come by plane pay more taxes and speak English, which does lessen the burden.

You are trying to find racism when it is not the point that drives most of us, at all.

It does not matter what country the immigrants are coming from... illegal immigration is still illegal. Besides I am not too fond of Canada either... :)

There are not millions of Canadians in America illegally. Canadians in America work, pay tax, pay for health care, and the majority of them in the U.S. are not here to traffic drugs!

Get off the Canadian kick! It's Mexico that is the huge problem - just look at the numbers!!!

WHAT PART OF ILLEGAL DON'T YOU UNDERSTAND!? If you overstay your visa, you are an illegal alien criminal - you are breaking the law!

each and every so often the persons who get the visas do not honor the contract whilst they get that visa. many of the persons accessible think of they are able to easily overlook with regard to the regulations... some sense they own this u . s ... some have a central authority that isn't furnish suggestions on the persons who prepare for the visa. and then there is that this way of rubbish. "De Jesus, the lengthy-time broker, reported he known the cost of the U.S. electing a guy like Obama after an prolonged time of racial intolerance." u . s . of america has not even gotten close to to an prolonged time of racial intolerance. it somewhat is somewhat offensive to assert such issues, in spite of if, our enemies do like to assert it whilst they don't seem to be getting their way. And of each and every of the countries interior the international that could say this way of element with regard to u . s . of america, Mexico is the very worst with racial intolerance directed to the Mestizo's for many, some years. Mexico's scientific care of the 'first settlers' is criminal and whilst we talk, criminal. not a large form of room to call for... or talk. they could be silent earlier their betters, and that incorporates a marginally large majority of Latin u . s . of america.

(1) I am all in favor of deporting whomever is here illegally. I don't care where they've come from.

(2) I think it is fair to say that Canadians who are here illegally did not come here to have an anchor baby (funded by Medicaid), molest a little kid, kill a woman, collect food stamps, work under a STOLEN Social Security number (& send the money back to wherever the heck), spread communicable diseases or piss about in a U.S. prison honing their criminal skills & connections.

(3) Stop being a CRYBABY by trying to make this into a RACE issue. It IS NOT! As you may have noticed, many of the law enforcement officers being persecuted for trying to stop this invading swarm are also HISPANIC! Spare me.

*chuckles*

We don't want one illegal in the U.S, much less 1 MILLION. I don't care where the illegal alien came from it needs to go back home and take it's offspring with it.

No such thing as acceptable illegal immigration.

i think it is wrong but those kind of things are always happening . there is even undocumented Americans in Mexico and very few bother to talk about it and i don't think they bother Mexico .

what i think that should happen is that anyone who has kept him/herself out of troubles was given the opportunity to stay for good if that's what they want or to fix their status and then leave .

the current immigration laws are not according to what its going on and need to be fixed . of course it will not be easy but a legalization of all who are here is way easier than being trying to capture as much as half of the population in some cities . what anti-immigrant group propose is just unenforceable just like both democrats and republicans had said so in many occasions .

here something interesting to read :

http://www.nysun.com/article/38427

there is as many as 1.5 million undocumented Asians which could not possibly be deported either, who live in the USA and should not be ignored in case of a legalization :
