Well I went to prom with a guy who was 6'3" and I'm 5'1". Let's just say slow dancing was awkward.
Other than that, as long as both of you are comfortable with it, go for it!

if you are really trying to decide if you should date a guy based on heights, then i'd say yes, he's "too tall" for you...and so is everyone else.
