I am condemed by you NOT GOD! I am condemned by YOUR BELIEFS! The world is condemned as well as you place YOUR BELIEFS ahead of the rest of the worlds and this goes for ALL OF YOU AND ALL RELIGIONS! I have heard you preach to the world that YOUR GOD IS TRUE! Well baby I DON'T BELIEVE YOU. Believe this though, if you continue to spread the word of men that wrote manuscripts that WERE NEVER PROVEN, Can Not Be Proved, and only BLIND those that would seek REAL ANSWERS; you deliver the world into the hands of evil. Human Evil! What's That? It is IGNORANCE supported by You & Your Religion! Please stop preying on US!

Whoa! Who's condemning you buddy? Sounds like somebody is a little paranoid. Personally, I welcome open discussion about religion, philosophy, science, etc. Yes, people who condemn you probably are ignorant. But ignorant of what? Well, their religion, that's what. I think you're confusing personal beliefs with religion. The two are NOT the same.
For instance, Christians who go around telling people they are condemned are not practicing the religion Christ taught. That kind of judgement is for him to make.
d_chino_m, you said:

"Agreed.

Religion is a disease. Ignorance is the symptom. Knowledge is the cure. "

Wouldn't it make more sense to say "ignorance is the disease, religion is the symptom"? I think that would sound a lot better, as well as make more sense. But I think you're mistaken. Again, it is people's interpretations of religious systems that cause trouble, not the religion itself. I mean it can be applied to other things. What about Hitler's personal beliefs about genetics and social engineering? Nothing to do with religion there.
If the presence of religion leads to evil, it follows logically that its absence leads to good, but then how do you explain, oh...I don't know, Soviet Russia and the systematic murder of 61 million people? What about the millions purposely starved or forced into labor camps in the Soviet Union and in Communist China?
And if only ignorant people are religious, how to explain that most of the world's most brilliant and learned people have been religious? Most Noble prize winners are religious. What about Newton, Galileo, Copernicus? Think of most of the really intelligent people you know. I have a hard time believing you can only think of atheists (which in itself is a belief, not based in fact...how can you "prove" something does not exist??? Ask any reputable scientist to "prove" something doesn't exist).
In short, I think the only people "preying" on you are probably not practicing their religion. And while there may be a correlation between "ignorance" and "evil", I don't think there is any with religion.

Peace

Well, I have debated on how to answer your dialogue because it shows so much ignorance. Ignorance doesn't make you a bad person unless you shut yourself off from reason. I am ignorant about many things but I am always seeking truth and knowledge.

To answer your first question, God's intention is not to hide from anyone but to have a close personal, loving relationship with them. However, He is not going to force Himself onto someone that is intent on rejecting Him. The fact is that God shows Himself to the world everyday in countless ways. The problem is whether or not we recognize Him. For many Christians, they can see God's hands and actions in their lives or in others lives.

You say our beliefs cannot be proven. How much research have you done? How open was your mind to the facts you were reading or looking at? For example, Christ Himself fulfilled 55 prophesies in the last 12 hours of His life. These prophesies were written hundreds of years before He was born. If you have done ANY research on Jewish tradition and how scribes were trained and carried out their duties, you would understand the accuracy and unchanging nature of the prophesies. Now I am not talking about some general "palm-reader prophecy" which is so vague in detail that anything could fulfill it. I am talking about specific details

Now, I won't prey on you but I will PRAY FOR you and it is not for me to condemn you. That is God's job. However, I CAN tell you what the Bible says, whether you reject it or not.

I cannot BELIEVE that someone IN yahoo answers would condemn GOD lovers like me like this. I agree that some people who claim to be Christians are evil, no doubt about that. But there are those of us who just want people to freaking love each other already. Is THAT too MUCH to ASK?

No one is condemning you. Jesus Himself said that He alone is "the way, the truth and the life; no one goes to the Father except through Him."

The authenticity of the Bible can be proved without a shadow of a doubt. Consider both sides of the story before coming to any rash conclusions.

You can believe what you wish but as for me and my house we will serve the Lord. As Christians it is our duty to get the word out. God gave humans the brains to chose our paths, it's called free will. But end the end (and there will be an end) God will set his children free. If you don't believe in God then by my studies and learning you are going to HELL. I am not condemning you... God will judge you himself. I pray that your way is not totally lost...

Why don't you ask God to show Himself to you personally instead of relying on others interpretation of what He has for you?

Matt 7:7-8,11 Ask and it will be given to you seek and you will find knock and it will be opened to you. For eveyone who asks receives and he who seeks finds and to him who knocks it will be opened....11,If you then being evil know who to give good gifts to your children how much more will your Father who is in Heaven give good things to those who ask Him!

Oh and by the way...science IS proving what was written in those manuscripts of the Bible =) Listen to Dr. Dino and some of the guests that are on Dr. Baugh's programs.

I don't know what religious zealots you've been dealing with, but Christians don't go around condemning people. They know that only God can judge a person.

You do sound a wee bit judgmental, though.

"Many are called but few are chosen." That stinks for you. Maybe you should stop rejecting what's as plain as the nose on your face.
You do more preaching then I heard on Sunday. Get off your soap box preacher.
P.S. I don't condemn you. I love you man.

Although I also believe that people should quit forcing other people to believe in their beliefs, I would have stated a protest in a much more calm, collective, mature dialogue.
