No, God is perfect, He has no such human imperfections.

I'm not insecure. Perhaps you haven't been "Renewed in the spirit of your mind, and put on the new man, which after God, has been created in righteousness and holiness of truth." (Ephesians 4:23,24)
The image of God in Man has been twisted and distorted by the enemy of God, who can't get to God, so instead likes to "draw mustaches" on His image. There is nothing he enjoys more than taking a man and twisting him into a caricature of God, turning him into a drunkard lying in his own vomit on the sidewalk; or a glib tongued liar and con artist, or any one of a million distortions he has picked out for every individual who persists in his stubborn rebellion against God.
That is why Jesus said: "You must be born again."

you are only in his image if you believe that you are, not if you are insecure. Whatsoever is not of faith is sin. Sin is the opposite of God. The law is the strength of sin and make us insecure. Believing you are like God outside the works of the law is being in God's image. So only those who do not fear death are in the image of God. The rest will have to wait until the trick of death dies with the flesh.

While God is secure, we are desperately insecure. This is because while God is infinite and man is finite, he created us in his image with the ability to use our imagination. Our insecurity comes from using our "image" to sin, imagining ourselves as God, infinite when in reality we are only part. God made us to worship him because he is worthy and when this world passes away, we will realize the awesome pleasure of true worship to a loving God. God is love. It is a tragedy that your understanding has been confused.

God is love, he is perfect, he is never insecure, and you shouldn't be either, God is our father, we are his children. He wants the best for us in every area, if we believe in him, we will not be insecure. If God be for us, who could be against us? We should have no fear or insecurity, God will always take care of us. We will have problems, but God will bring us out of our problems. Would you want your child to be insecure, of course not, you want him to know that you love him, and you will provide for him the best that you can. That is how God wants you to feel about him. He will always love you, even if you don't return the love, unlike people in our lives who aren't that way. God Bless You, and may you accept the blessing.

The world was originally created perfect, and so were humans. Humans, however, rebelled and brought sin and death to the world. This is why people are insecure. God is self sustaining, and we worship Him not because He first loved us, not the other way around.

I think you hit on the head. God kills like humans, just on a mass scale--the worldwide flood comes to mind and the killing of all the first born during the Jewish Exodus.

He is jealous like we are because he does not want to have any other Gods before him--ten commandments among other passages.

He committs fornication (sex without marriage); witness the impregnation of Mary the mother of Jesus.

He will send you to hell to burn for ever if you don't love him. Very similar to those sick people that kill their wife and children just because they are not loved in return.

Yes, you are right God is just an insecure slob like one of us.

No Willy, we were physically made in Gods Image, as In man and women. Two legs, arms, and one brain. But we were also given the same feelings, not everything pertains to us literally.

For you God-glorifiers, why would a good minded God intentionally create objects with sin and imperfections,
and, still yet "expect" these clones to worship Him and adore Him?

This is sick, you people really need your heads examined.

The creation of human beings was an unselfish act of love. He did not create us because he is perfect. and did not need us. He created us because he knew we would like it.

I like to think that he made me so that he could look at my corner of the world and it would remind him of true perfection someone that is caring, loving, charitable, kind, very good looking and thus remind him that " HEY I AM THE ONE TRUE GOD WHO ELSE COULD DO SUCH A PERFECT JOB!!!!"
