Do you know what we old folks called micro-evolution? Variation... It doesn't change the species of an organism. Viruses for example through millions of generation in just a few years have gone through some variation but guess what they are still viruses.. This idea of evolution has huge holes in it. How long has it been since the last extension event? Science say all that was left on the earth were rudimentary plants and small rodent like mammals.. Where did evolution get the time needed to bring about the Huge mammals and even man after that event? NOT ENOUGH TIME!! Remember million of generation of viruses have come and gone and they haven't even had one changed of species.. You better rethink your "facts" that evolution is scientific fact.. The Big Bang.. All I need to say is God spoke and the worlds began..... Jim

I don't think you can argue the difference between the use of language in our society and things of faith. Belief is a general term, it depends on how we use it in the sentence that tells you what the belief we are talking about is.

Do you use money, Brendan? Because if you do it requires an act of FAITH, because money, in and of itself, has no value. You have faith too.
And trust me, I can believe that it's not butter.

Simply put:
Christians put faith over truth.
We have seen it time and time again.
They think its the same thing, but when confronted with evidence to the contrary, they start bleating: WE LOVE JESUS and ignore everything else.

As Jim demonstrates these creationists need to get their facts straight before taking on science.

They deny Creation and put their faith in a story about Creation. How sad for them when they face judgment.

They can't learn from the mistakes of past generations.
Galileo, Copernicus, Bruno etc. etc.
Christians are doomed to repeat history, and the shame is that we will all pay for it.
