I generally find that the older I get - the less I am able to bite my tongue.

When dealing with local officials, teachers at a school, or just people out in the general public - I really let them know what's on my mind.

Are you like this too?

what is your most successful "rant"?

have you ever had the Governor of your state send you a personal email?

or had your neighbors come to you for help getting a petition started?

I'd like to think so. I have just started to get interested in politics of the world in the past year.

I believe it's almost a duty to question EVERYTHING that goes on in the world, including our current administration. I believe debate is a great tool to get points of view out in the open, but calling each other (libs and cons) names is not at all beneficial.

I am a conservative who has many liberal friends, and we get along just great. We just have different view points.

Not sure about rabble rouser, however as I grow older I do suffer foolishness much less. I am more than willing to contact elected officials and send letters to newspaper editors on my views. I have had some sauces in getting responses from Senators, Congressmen, State Reps and did get one letter from my Gov. Occasionally I do get LTTE's published in both local and national publications.

As I grow older, I see more possibilities than ever before, and am less likely to condemn someone for having a different viewpoint than me UNLESS they try to foist that viewpoint off on me. In that case, I usually avoid them. I wish I could say that I was a rabble rouser, but I'm just a talking voter who wants to see the most good for the most people!
