We are all doing a lifelong job interview with God. No one has gotten the Job yet, so it continues.......a large scale positon must be filled in Heaven, and only the best can get the job.

You talk as though you have experience. Since you statement eludes to the idea that there is only one position I have to assume that you got fired from the spot..
How do you know what you are saying is the truth as you indicate in your first sentence. I am a christian and truely believe in god. I am not interviewing for any job, I am only trying to be the best that I can be, in all things.

Salvation is not by works. It is by grace. A gift of God. You must acknowledge that you are a sinner and there is nothing you can do to change that. You must believe that Jesus Christ was born of the virgin Mary. You must also believe that Jesus Christ died on a cross for your sins, that he arose from the dead on the third day and now sits at the right hand of His Father. Trust Jesus as Lord and Savior and you will be saved.
