A lot of fast food organizations have a history of charitable contributions to the community.

For example, McDonald's provides a temporary home to families of sick children at their Ronald McDonald House locations throughout the country. In addition, they participate in many local charitable events by providing food and beverage, and sometimes coolers as well.

One of the local Carl's Jr. locations in my area offers a portion of the proceeds from drink sales on a specific day to smaller local charities.

Jack In The Box has an affiliation with Big Brothers Big Sisters, and offers food and other stuff. As an active Big Brother, I applaud the work they do.

There are many other examples, but many of these organizations do provide some great contributions to the community. All you have to do is ask the local manager, and they should be able to give you more information.
