I keep trying to ask this and it keeps not posting. Last try: How did you end up at Yahoo Answers? What first led you to try it? For me it was being irritated that "Nicole and Paris Have Lunch!" was Yahoo's features story and I needed to vent. What about you?

Great question! To answer this, I went into my posting history to find the first question I asked here.

It was "How Do I Keep Slugs Off My Patio?"

So now that I think about it, that's what brought me here...nine months ago.

I was in China teaching English but I didn't speak Chinese. Intellectually I was quite unstimulated so my free time was dedicated to online activities mostly which consisted of philosophical study but I was still missing out on having intellectually stimulating conversations with people. Then one day I went to yahoo and found their new product answers and even though I came back to the states I still love it. When I got back I was selected to be a "brainiac" in the "ask the planet" official product launch of yahoo answers.

Curiosity. I started answering questions in the "health" section, then found R&S. The rest is history.

There was a song on a commercial that was familiar, but for the life of me, I couldn't think of the name or who sang it. It was driving me crazy, so I asked, and I got my answer. (Song: Shambala. Band: Three Dog Night)

I was on this weird chemical that prophesized a great website where intelligent and not-so-intelligent could communicate answers to one another.
