Open your eyes and ponder this question. If God created everything, why would he have reason to hate or love only certain things. The answer is that he loves everything. God understands our situation, because he put us here. Screw all this bs about we aren't perfect and we have to ask for forgiveness to enter heaven. WE ARE ALL GOING TO HEAVEN, REGARDLESS. You know why? becuase it is not our fault even in the deapest bounds of our soul, our faults are Gods faults, and to God they are not faults, but necessary to the overall functioning of His kingdom, without sin there is no Good. Take a long hard look at reality theists, and realize that you are what you are, nothing more than the being of God, so stop trying to define Him, and stop putting words in His mouth. The bible is the work of forty crazies who took advantage of the weak, dont be suppressed by its elusion, and join the true faith in God.

I half agree with you. I believe that God loves us all and is happy allow us all into heaven. However, I also believe he gave us free will to make our own choices, but that the outlines what behaviour he expects as our creator. He didn't make our faults, he made us able to think for ourselves. He gave us all our emotions, and they all have a time and place.

Is jealousy an attractive thing? Taken to far no. But a tiny bit of jealousy is part of what makes monogomy what it is.

Is anger a good thing? If you're loosing it and beating people, no. But when you see great attrocities (sp?) I think a little righteous anger should begin to swell within you.

It's the choices WE make that decide our entrance into heaven, not who we are the day we're born. And God realized that we were going to make the odd bad choice (after we're ONLY human). All that he asks is that we realize these were bad choices and that we honestly repent them (wish we hadn't done them and feel a little bad). I don't think we need discuss these mistakes with other people (ie. a priest etc) we don't even need to actually come out and say "Hey, God. Sorry about that." God can see into our hearts, he knows if we feel bad for doing the wrong thing. As long as he sees that, the gate will open wide.

Those who are happy to go along making bad choices based upon greed, hatred, jealousy, etc. No, I don't think God has a place for them in heaven, at least not yet.

I'm undecided on the purgatory issue. It seems to be that once we're before God all out worldly views will be washed away and we'll be able to see the world with God's omnipotent vision. I think then that the pain we'd feel at any harm we caused would probably be punishment enough and that we'd then be allowed into heaven. I think maybe THAT is what purgatory is. That moment where to see everything with pure eyes and your soul can understand what it has done.

But then, that's just my opinion.

You contradict yourself, do you not? You cannot say no faults exist or matter, and then fault those who wrote the Bible, or fault people for trying to define God or putting words in His mouth.

By your system you preach, these things are not sinful or bad, so what does it matter? The fact that you want to correct these as something to be corrected, you show you DO believe there are levels of right and wrong worth correcting do you not?

Therefore, if there is no wrong way to go about correcting these things, why not let those who use the Bible to address sin do things that way. If you perceive it is "suppression" then YOU make it "sin," just as you would criticize others for making "sin" out of what they criticize in the world.

Live and let live if that is your motto.
But if you wish to ask people to renounce one way for another, then how can you criticize others for the same thing.

P.S. the purpose of ill consequences of sin are to teach us right from wrong. Not to continue doing whatever because neither right or wrong matters. Obviously you must believe this unconsciously or you would not write a message asking people to change their ways or their minds. So there is a good use of error and suffering and wrongdoing to teach us how to correct and prevent these things in the world. Just like sickness exists to tell us when our bodies are not healthy, we also need to know when our spirit is not healthy, so there are symptoms in the world when we are not in perfect harmony and balances. This is not the same as overlooking the existence of sin, but acknowledging its cause and effect and its cure. Both the Buddhists and Christians teach this process, so there are more witnesses to God's truth than just the authors of the Bible. If the prophets and visionaries came across as "crazy" it was because they were ahead of their time and their visions were not yet proven. But the fact that two separate religious cultures, East and West, both testify to the same universal truths expressed both in divine and natural laws, that would be too "purposeful" and consistent to attribute to insanity.

There is a difference between an actual "fault" -- as in something you were born with and cannot do anything to change -- and free-will actions. My understanding is that free-will actions are what will keep us out of heaven. Those are the things we need to ask forgiveness for, because those actions were totally under our control. If I choose to break your windows and vandalize your car just because I don't like you, do you think God will pat me on the back and say, "That's okay. I know you couldn't help it."? I certainly don't because that wouldn't be the truth and I think we all can agree that God is not a liar.

You sound like you know what you are talking about, but you couldn't be more wrong. Not everyone is going to heaven, and you do need to ask for forgiveness and repent. God can have nothing to do with sin. He is Holy, and if you want to be with him you have to meet his standards, and accept Jesus as your savior. The bible is the truth. To say it was written by crazies is calling God crazy. Take a long hard look at yourself, and read the bible, and maybe you will understand more.

I pretty much agree except for one little part. WE ARE ALL GOING TO HEAVEN, REGARDLESS. (that one)

If we learn to accept God's work, then we can see the shining Heaven, everything from including that Christ died on the cross to whatever. In the Bible it says that if a man is born-again&repents (I cant recite it word for word right now), that he'll go to heaven.

Now if atheist reject the idea of even trying to know God, then they cant begin the process of salvation. Im not saying they never could but the person may be set in their ways.

Not all hope is lost though. Great work and I hope you bring people to Christ!!!

No creator would love that which denies it. We are not all going to Heaven because God made and works by certain rules, which are laid out in the- gasp- Bible, and if we don't follow those rules then God doesn't want us. Is it unloving? No. Its how reality works. You cannot get on a train without a ticket, you cannot get into Heaven without Jesus. Sorry bro. Thats just how it works.

Very wrong. this shows your lack of understanding in the spiritual realm. " If God created everything, why would he have reason to hate or love only certain things." the fact is God created Adam and Eve first to have a relationship with them. But they sinned. And because they were the first human beings to be created, their generation is passed down to us, eventually. God LOVES us so much He gave us a choice of will; to choose or NOT to choose. God can easily cause people to love Him, yes, but will it be from the heart? Now, go watch Bruce Almighty. In it, when the God is about to hand His powers to Jim Carrey, He said this, "You can do whatever you want, but there's only ONE thing you cannot do, and that is to make people love you."
This is true so for God. we choose to love God.

And, you're not the being of God.
Be careful with your words, because you never know when you'll die for this.

If the bible is not real, at least we obeyed what it said and our lives are changed.

But what if its real?

wow! So let me ask you a question, what religion is that or is it one at all? I have always beleived that the Bible had some parts that suited "men" and thought in King James's time things were altered. But you really have a point going on here..... made me open my eyes really wide...dont like some parts of this, but if its a religion I would like to read up on it

Someone is apparently unaware that not all theists are Christians, and that not all religions have a concept of Hell.

Someone is also unaware that in some religions, humankind doesn not need "saving".

Someone needs to do a bit more research.

You are not saved by your own actions good or bad. You are saved by the blood and suffering of Jesus Christ IF you have faith and believe that he died for your sins. It is that simple.John 3-16
