384,000,000,000.i went to ask jeeves and typed in the question i clicked on this source called vballfacts and it told me that 800 million people play once a week.i multiplied 8 by 48(48 weeks in a yr) and i got 384 than i hust simplied added 9 zeros behind it

first add up all the collegate, high school, midschool and club teams. Then add all the pros. You can look up on ncaa.com or volleyball.com they might have the answer.
