1rst Thessalonians 4:14 thru 18 but especially verse 17:"Then we who are alive and left will be caught up in the clouds together with them to meet the Lord in the air; and so we will be with the Lord forever."
Chapter 1 verse 10 says : "and to wait for his Son from heaven, whom he raised from the dead-Jesus,who rescues us from the wrath that is coming ."
O.K. what part of that don't you understand.1rst Thessalonians was written about 54 A.D. and not some part of a little girl's fantasy from the 1800s.Those who deny the coming Rapture ,deny what's written in Scripture. The phrase "caught up" is the Greek word "harpazo".Jerome, when writting his 'Vulgate',translated that to the Latin "Rapturos" meaning "snatched away".
One day before the "Lawless One "is revealed,we who are alive and left will be "Raptured" to meet the Lord.
What say you to that??? Peace out.

1Thes. 4:17!! That about sums it up because the word 'rapture' is never used in the Bible...however the word dinosaur is also never used int he Bible but that doesn't mean that they don't exist =) they just used different words to describe them.

I Pray that I meet Christ in the air to be with Him for eternity. Praise God.

1 Thessalonians 4:16 For the Lord himself shall descend from heaven with a shout, with the voice of the archangel, and with the trump of God: and the dead in Christ shall rise first: 17 Then we which are alive and remain shall be caught up together with them in the clouds, to meet the Lord in the air: and so shall we ever be with the Lord. 18 Wherefore comfort one another with these words.

The word Rapture means to be caught up. The scriptures says we ( His Church) will be Raptured ( called up, caught up, snatched away, any way you want to put it, but before the great Tribulation, The Lord will take us up. Noah's Ark symbolizes the Rapture somewhat.

If you were to actually trust in St. Jerome you would become Catholic because he was. The book of Revelation is all about the Mass. Everything they talk about as the living being drawn up to meet the Lord in the air is the Mass.
